Adopt A Guest – 2025

Giving Back in South Bend This Winter

At INSERV, supporting the community where we live and work is a core value that guides everything we do. As temperature drops and Indiana winters settle in, staying warm and secure becomes an immediate challenge for many of our neighbors. That is why this December, INSERV is proud to take action by participating in the Adopt a Guest campaign at the Center for the Homeless in South Bend.

What does the Center for the Homeless do in the South Bend community?

The Center for the Homeless plays a vital role in our local South Bend community, offering shelter, essential resources, and transformative support programs to help individuals and families break the cycle of homelessness. Their mission goes far beyond providing a temporary bed; they deliver comprehensive care, life-skills training, and dynamic pathways toward long-term self-sufficiency.

Through the Center’s Adopt a Guest matching campaign, INSERV is sponsoring 10 guests this season. This sponsorship ensures that each individual receives immediate warmth, dignity, and practical daily support as harsh winter weather hits northern Indiana.

Each care package provided through the program includes:

  • A $25 Walmart gift card
  • Warm socks, a hat, a neck warmer, and gloves
  • A handkerchief and 3 ChapSticks

While these care packages contain simple, everyday items, they deliver tangible relief against brutal winter temperatures. Small gestures of support compound into real community impact.

We are deeply honored to partner with the Center for the Homeless in South Bend and support their mission. We encourage our partners, neighbors, and friends across the region to visit their website, learn more about their life-changing efforts, and consider getting involved this holiday season!
